Features
Everything a consultation needs. Nothing a procurement officer needs.
Eight things, all included on every plan. We charge for how many responses you collect and how many people you invite — never for which tool you reached for.
Campaign pages
A branded public page that goes live in one click
Every campaign gets its own address — communityfeedback.ai/c/your-campaign, or your own domain on Pro. It is a real page, server-rendered, fast on a three-year-old phone on a bad connection.
- Your logo, your hero image and your brand colour drive the whole page — not a template with our colours in it.
- Stack the blocks you want in the order you want: info, survey, map, idea board. Drag to reorder.
- Draft, live and closed states, so you can build in private and close cleanly when the consultation ends.
- Remove our branding on any paid plan, or white-label the whole thing on Agency & Gov.
Survey builder
Thirteen question types and logic that stays out of the way
Short text, long text, single choice, multiple choice, dropdown, rating, NPS, yes/no, ranking, email, phone, address and photo upload. Build the form by dragging questions into order.
- Conditional logic in one line: show this question only if the answer to that one was X. No rule builder, no flowchart, no afternoon lost.
- Required flags, help text and a supporting image per question — useful when you are asking about a specific junction or a specific design option.
- Respondents answer on their phone with no account, no app and no email verification standing between them and the first question.
- Every answer is exportable as CSV with one column per question, ready for the report you have to write afterwards.
Pin-drop maps
Ask where, not just what
A form tells you people want better lighting. A map tells you they want it on the stretch between 3rd and 7th. Respondents drop a pin, pick a category and leave a comment — with an optional photo.
- Configurable categories with their own colours: Love it, Concern, Idea, or whatever your consultation actually asks.
- Set the centre, the zoom and an optional boundary so pins land inside the area you are consulting on.
- Clustering keeps a thousand pins readable; heatmaps on Pro show the pattern at a glance.
- Let people see and upvote each other's pins, or keep comments private to your team — your call, per campaign.
- Export every pin as GeoJSON and open it in QGIS, ArcGIS or your planner's existing workflow.
The address fallback is not an add-on
A drag-a-pin map canvas is unusable with a keyboard or a screen reader. So every map we render also offers a labelled text field: type an address or a postal code, we geocode it, and the point lands exactly like a dropped pin. Same categories, same comment box, same weight in the results. It is on by default, it cannot be switched off, and it is the difference between a consultation that is open to your whole community and one that quietly is not.
Idea boards
Let the community write the options
Sometimes the useful question is the one you did not think to ask. An idea board lets people post a suggestion, read everyone else's, upvote the ones they agree with and add a comment.
- Sort by top or newest, and set the default so the board opens the way your consultation needs it to.
- One vote per person per idea, enforced server-side — the counts you screenshot for the council report hold up.
- Comments can be switched off if you want a clean list of proposals rather than a discussion thread.
- Everything the board collects flows into the same results dashboard and the same CSV export as the survey.
Live results
Watch the responses land, then publish them
The dashboard updates as answers arrive: totals, unique participants, completion rate, a response-over-time sparkline, and a chart per question — bars, pies, histograms and a word cloud for open text.
- Map analytics alongside the survey charts: pins by category, filters by date, and a heatmap on Pro.
- Export CSV for the answers, GeoJSON for the pins, and PNG or SVG of any chart for the slide deck.
- Turn on the public results view and your campaign gets a second shareable page: read-only, branded, and honest.
- Publishing your numbers is the most underrated organising tactic there is. People join things that are visibly working.
Sharing & embedding
A link, a QR code, a social card and an embed snippet
Publishing generates all four at once. The QR goes on the flyer and the sandwich board, the social card makes the link look like something worth tapping, and the embed drops the survey straight into the site you already have.
- Auto-generated Open Graph cards carry your campaign title and hero, so shares stop looking like bare URLs.
- Download the QR code as an image and put it on doors, posters, table tents and the back of a canvassing clipboard.
- Embed a single module — just the survey, or just the map — with one script tag or an iframe. It inherits your brand colour.
- Optional contact capture asks respondents to opt in to updates, and exports as a CSV your CRM will accept.
Distribution
Email and SMS invites that will not get you in trouble
On Pro and above you can invite your list directly: batched email through Resend, batched SMS through Twilio, both from inside the campaign you are promoting.
- Every email carries a working unsubscribe link and a one-click List-Unsubscribe header, so mailbox providers keep delivering you.
- Every text carries a STOP keyword, and an opt-out is honoured immediately across the whole organisation — not just that batch.
- Quiet hours are enforced by default: no sends land at 6am because someone hit go the night before.
- SMS is metered credits, billed for what you send. We show the count before the send, not after.
Texting a list is a regulated activity in most places, and 10DLC registration is a real hurdle in the US. We build the compliance furniture in so the answer to “are we allowed to send this?” is usually yes — but you are still the sender, so keep your consent records.
Moderation & anti-spam
A public comment box, without the 3am surprise
Anything the public can write, someone will eventually abuse. Every public write path is rate-limited by IP and device from the first response, with a honeypot field bots reliably fall into and optional captcha when a campaign gets attention.
- A moderation queue collects keyword matches and reports. Hide or restore in one click; nothing is deleted behind your back.
- Block an IP for your organisation when someone will not stop, without touching the rest of your campaigns.
- Hidden pins, ideas and comments disappear from the public page instantly but stay in your export and your audit trail.
- No AI moderation pipeline making decisions you cannot explain to a councillor. Keyword matching and a human — yours.
What is deliberately not here
No stakeholder CRM with relationship scoring. No participatory budgeting simulator. No drag-and-drop site builder. No SSO configuration screen. Every one of those is why the enterprise tools cost what they cost and take six months to roll out. We would rather ship the six things you use every week and keep the price on the website.
Build the campaign first. Decide about paying later.
The free plan runs one live campaign with 200 responses a month — enough to prove the idea to your board before anyone signs anything.
Free plan, no card. 200 responses a month, forever.
