Nonprofits & coalitions

Ten partner organisations, one consultation, one shared list

Coalitions are held together by goodwill and shared credit, and tooling usually strains both. One partner owns the survey account, another owns the mailing list, a third has the map, and the data never quite comes together. One workspace, unlimited campaigns and a shared export fixes more coalition friction than another coordination call.

  • Unlimited campaigns, so every partner's push is free to run
  • Per-campaign logo and colour — everyone gets their own front door
  • Nonprofit discount codes on Starter and Pro

What gets in the way

Three things that stop this work, and what we do about them

“Every partner wants their own version and we have one budget.”

Unlimited campaigns from $39 a month, all in one workspace.

Each partner gets a campaign with their own logo, colour, hero and URL — and every response still lands in the same organisation, exportable together. There is no per-project fee, so the tenth campaign costs the same as the first: nothing.

“Half the coalition should see the results, none of them should be able to break the survey.”

Owner, editor and viewer roles, enforced in the database.

Viewers can read every result and export it. Editors can build and publish. Only owners can delete. It is enforced by row-level security in Postgres rather than by a hidden button, so a shared login is never the workaround.

“The funder wants a report and the board wants proof, this month.”

Live dashboard now, CSV and charts when the grant report is due.

Response counts, completion rate, per-question charts and a word cloud of the open text are ready the moment answers start arriving. Export the tables for the appendix, the chart images for the deck, and turn on the public results page so members can see what the coalition heard without waiting for the write-up.

Example campaign

A coalition-wide listening tour

Nine organisations across one county want to know what their communities need from a new transit plan. Nobody has a budget line for software.

  1. Week 1

    One workspace, one question set

The lead org creates the workspace and builds a core survey the coalition agrees on: twelve questions, two of them conditional so nobody answers something irrelevant. It becomes the template every partner starts from.

  2. Week 2

    A campaign per community

Nine campaigns, each with the partner's own logo, colour and neighbourhood-centred map. The questions match, so the results combine — but each front door looks like the organisation people already trust.

  3. Weeks 3–6

Everyone shares the same link, their own way

Two partners embed the survey directly on their websites. Three print QR codes for community meetings. One texts their opted-in list. The youth org runs it on tablets at events. Same dataset underneath, nine different front doors.

  4. Week 7

    Read it as one dataset

Export every campaign to CSV and stack them — same columns, same question ids. The map pins export as GeoJSON with their campaign attached, so you can look at the county as a whole or one neighbourhood at a time.

  5. Week 8

    Give the findings back

Each partner publishes their own public results page, and the coalition publishes the combined write-up. People answered because someone they trusted asked them to — showing them what happened next is how you get to ask again.

Nine organisations, one $39 subscription, and a nonprofit discount code on top of it.
